Now in it's 7th season, the TLP Children's Summer Workshop is a 3-week program which meets Monday through Friday from 9.00am - 4.00pm for children ages 7 to 18. Early drop-off and extended care are available at an additonal rate -please call for information. Children will study acting, dance, vocal performance, stagecraft, and auditioning, with experienced personnel. They will audition for roles in the end of session show, and will rehearse for that show as well as creating sets, costumes and props. Classes are grouped by age and ability - so children with any level of experience are welcome. There's also plenty of time for theater games and crafts.
Children will receive a t-shirt and ONE complimentary ticket to a performance. Children should bring their own lunch, bottled water and a healthy snack. Snacks and sodas are available at our Snack Shack throught the day. Dress should be appropriate for the weather, and should allow for movement and messy activities and include proper footware - no flip-flops please. Children should also bring dance shoes.
